4. Financial Aid
Plan to use FAFSA? Start filling out the FAFSA
Guam Community College School Code: 015361
After filling out the FAFSA, the federal processing time will take about 3-5 days. You will then receive a Deferment Letter in your GCC Email from the GCC Financial Aid Office. The Deferment Letter acts as a ticket and needs to be presented in order to complete steps 9 and 10.

5. Health Requirements

Health Requirements for NEW Students
1. TB Skin Test must be less than one (1) year prior to registration; For any individual entering Guam from an area other than the United States or its territories, Public Law 22-130 requires that a tuberculosis test must be conducted within six (6) months before enrollment.
If a Positive Reactor of TB, must obtain a MEDICAL EVALUATION with a valid Chest X-ray report from their private medical clinic first and then proceed to the TB Section of the Department of Public Health & Social Services in Dededo to obtain a Certificate of Tuberculosis Evaluation Form for clearance. Call or email the GCC Health Services Center for further guidance;
2. MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella – 2 doses required (this vaccine is given in 2 doses during childhood years, if a record is available showing these doses, this vaccine is not needed for the rest of a person's lifetime); If no record is available, visit a clinic to have both doses administered;
3. TD / TDAP Booster – This vaccine is good for ten (10) years; and
4. Emergency and Health Information – This form can be found HERE and below under Student Forms.
5. Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) or Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV) for students below 18 years of age.
Students whose choice of study will place them at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens are advised to follow further instructions from their respective program advisor regarding other health requirements such as the Hepatitis B vaccine and physical examination.

They can help you learn which classes you should take and when you should take them.
