In February, GCC is crushing on something else... Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month!

The "traditional" educational path to success is evolving. It’s about hard skills, career readiness, and the confidence to walk into a job on day one and own it!

CTE is more than just "shop class". It’s a proven educational path that covers many diverse careers. Whether it’s Construction Technology, Culinary, Tourism, or Automotive, these programs are proving that students are most successful when they are doing what they are passionate about!

The real-world impact:

Closing the Gap: Our graduates are tackling the national skills gap head-on and entering the workforce with industry certifications that put them ahead of their peers, even while in high school.
 
Empowering Every Learner: CTE has a way of reaching students who might feel lost in a traditional lecture hall. It boosts graduation rates and fosters inclusion by showing every student they have a valuable place in our economy.
