The GCC Student Orientation introduces new students to the Guam Community College services, resources, and opportunities which will support their academic and career goals. Effective Fall 2019, Title IX training will also be included as part of the student orientation program.
GCC FALL 2020 STUDENT ORIENTATION

Due to impacts from COVID-19, GCC has shifted the Fall 2020 Student Orientation to a virtual format.
Orientation is required for all new GCC students and all full-time GCC students who have not attended a Student Orientation. Important information will be provided regarding Admissions and Registration, Counseling, Financial Aid, Title IX, Accommodative Services, Student Support Services, Project AIM, Reach for College, Career Placement, Student Organizations and other important topics.
Students will receive an email invitation to join the Fall 2020 Student Orientation class on Google Classroom. There they will be able to access Orientation information and handouts. Please note that the Google Classroom invitation will only be sent to the student's official GCC email address (@guamcc.edu).
Make sure to visit the Fall 2020 Student Orientation Google Classroom page before the virtual Orientation to obtain the Zoom link.
Individuals requiring special accommodations should contact the GCC Office of Accommodative Services at 735-5597.

Prepare for Orientation on Zoom
Testing and Using Zoom
Your orientation session will be hosted on Zoom. The Zoom link will be posted on Google Classroom before Orientation.
If you are new to Zoom, review how to join a meeting. Consider downloading the Zoom app from the Zoom Download Center and installing it on your computer or mobile device before joining a Zoom meeting. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click the “Join” link. You can also join a test meeting to familiarize yourself with Zoom.
