Accreditation

The Guam Community College's application for the reaffirmation of its accreditation status by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) has been approved for a full eight years –the maximum period allowable. The Commission examined the institutional evidence of student learning and achievement, the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report, the Peer Review Team Report, and determined that GCC complies with the Eligibility Requirements, Accreditation Standards, and Commission policies. On June 27, 2025, the College received notice from ACCJC of its action to reaffirm accreditation. You may review the 2024. Guam Community College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, 428 J Street, Suite 400, Sacramento, CA. 95814, (415) 506-0234, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Program Accreditation 

The American Culinary Federation has awarded the Seven–Year Exemplary status to the Guam Community College Culinary Arts Program for their Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts and as such, program completers earn the ACF Certified Culinarian designation upon graduation. The program is now ACFEF-accredited through 2029.
